Armed Forces Covenant

The Armed Forces Covenant is a pledge that together we recognise and understand that those who are serving or have previously served in the Armed Forces are treated fairly and with respect in the communities, economy, and society they serve with their lives. The Covenant focuses on helping members of the Armed Forces community have the same access to government and commercial services as any other citizen.

The support is provided in many areas including:

  • education and family well-being
  • having a home
  • starting a new career
  • access to healthcare
  • financial assistance
  • discounted services

The covenant encourages groups to get involved including the government, charities, and businesses of all sizes. As a business, it is vital that VIRSEC support those serving in the Armed Forces. Stephen Richards, Founder and Director of VIRSEC commented “As a former Royal Marine and business owner, I believe it is important for companies to support organisations such as the Armed Forces Covenant to give something back to the Veterans and those still serving”.

VIRSEC are now working towards achieving the Silver Award.
