To some, violence in the workplace may be unthinkable. But to those working alone on the job, the threat can be very real.

In recent years, there has been a growing recognition of the significance of mental health in our overall well-being. Mental health encompasses our emotional, psychological, and social well-being, and it affects how we think, feel, and act.

November 2022, VIRSEC receive their Silver Status Award from the Armed Forces Covenant.

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), every 45 seconds someone takes their own life and for every suicide, a further 25 people make a suicide attempt, and many more have serious thoughts of suicide. 

Cathy Wallwork, a Director of VIRSEC attended a fantastic presentation from Great Britain’s Senior Service, the Royal Navy Presentation Team which was delivered to a Face-to-Face Members audience at Mersey Maritime offices in Liverpool this morning [06.09.2022].
