About the Course
The online UK DfT Maritime & Coastguard Agency (STCW ISPS) Proficiency as Ship Security Officer (SSO) Course for Merchant Vessels is a mandatory training prerequisite under STCW for members of a vessels Crew who wish to perform the duties of the SSO managing onboard security, coordinating training and drills, liaising with port authorities, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations among other duties.
