This Fully Online CPD Accredited Course Serves as an Introductory Guide to the Risk Assessment Process Tailored Specifically for Seafarers

Course Introduction

As part of managing the Health and Safety requirements of your business, you must also control the risks within your workplace or on board a vessel. To do this efficiently and effectively, you need to consider what might cause harm to people, crew, guests, cargo etc. and to decide whether you are taking reasonable steps to mitigate the risk and prevent that harm from occurring. This process is known as a ‘Risk Assessment’ and it is something you should become very familiar with. A Risk Assessment is about identifying sensible measures to mitigating and controlling the risks in your workplace or on board the vessel.
